  1. Mahalo nui for all your support! E kala mai, I do have one correction and clarification to make: our players are NOT all of kanaka maoli decent. Being kanaka maoli is not a requirement to be on the team, just as it was not a requirement to be a subject in the Hawaiian Kingdom. Three of our current seven players are kanaka maoli. The others met other eligibility criteria such as:
    - Born in Hawaii
    -Parent born in Hawaii
    -Grandparent born in Hawaii
-Graduate of a Hawaii high school

Anyone that meets any of those four criteria, or is kanaka maoli, is eligible to play for the Kingdom of Hawaii. We will soon expand the program to include other sports. Please contact me, Kawika Villa, with your interest or inquiries at starting5.kv@gmail.com

    Mahalo!!
