Artie Wilson (Coach, Solar Universe / Electricians Hawaii) and Tim Shepard (Player/Coach, Electricians Hawaii / National Fire Protection Co.) held one of the finest kids basketball program called C.H.A.M.P.S. Basketball Clinic on Saturdays at the Holy Nativity Gym. Kids from kindergarten to eighth grade learned the warm up drills and basketball skills just like the college and professional basketball players.
Guest coaches included several former University of Hawaii Men's Basketball players. And the players were treated to an occasional game of Knockout with the coaches. When a student bests the coach, you know the coaching was done well.
